LazyPass operates a mobile application and digital platform that enables users to discover partner fitness centers and purchase single-day workout passes without long-term commitments. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal data is handled responsibly and transparently in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and Apple App Store / Google Play Developer Policies.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only information necessary to deliver our fitness access services:

• Account Information: Your mobile phone number (used for passwordless SMS OTP login and verification) and your profile display name.
• Location Data (Foreground Only): With your explicit permission, we access your device's approximate or precise location solely while using the app to calculate distance to nearby partner gyms and sort search results. We never track or record your location in the background.
• Transactional Data: Booking histories, purchased day passes, check-in timestamps, and LazyPass prepaid wallet ledger balances. We do not store credit card or bank credentials; all monetary payments are securely processed by RBI-licensed payment gateways.
• Camera Access: Camera permission is requested solely to allow scanning QR codes at partner gym reception desks for pass verification and entry check-in. No photos or video recordings are saved or transmitted to our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To verify your identity and authenticate your access using One-Time Passwords (OTP).
• To show you partner gyms in your immediate geographic vicinity and provide turn-by-turn navigation.
• To generate secure, dynamic entry QR tokens and allow partner gym staff to validate your day pass.
• To manage your prepaid wallet balance and facilitate instant refunds upon booking cancellation before the cutoff time.
• To provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party marketers or data brokers. Data is shared exclusively with:

• Partner Gyms: When you book a pass, the partner gym receives your name and check-in confirmation to verify entry eligibility.
• Cloud Infrastructure Providers: Our secure servers host encrypted data strictly for operational delivery.
• Legal & Regulatory Authorities: Only when strictly required by applicable Indian law or law enforcement court order.

5. Data Retention & Security

We implement industry-standard encryption, strict access controls, and TLS 1.2+ transport security to safeguard your personal data. We retain your transaction and booking records only for as long as your account remains active or as required by financial auditing regulations.
